The assailants targeted the victim and his partner, exploiting their knowledge of his crypto assets. The ordeal began with a deceptive message about an "urgent work issue," escalating to a video call where the victim appeared under duress. The attackers' demand for a hardware wallet underscores the growing risks of physical threats in the digital asset space.
